Second Degree Assault & Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance
On April 11, 2011 deputies responded to a report of an assault which occurred on Sandy Bottom Road in Hollywood, Maryland. Investigation revealed Jason Allan Foxwell, 25 of Hollywood, Maryland was engaged in a verbal dispute with the victim which escalated into a physical assault when Foxwell punched the victim in the head several times. The victim fled the residence and contacted police. Foxwell was located at the residence and arrested for second degree assault. A search incident to the arrest revealed Foxwell was in possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia and a controlled dangerous substance, suspected cocaine. Foxwell was additionally charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia and possession of a controlled dangerous substance, suspected cocaine.
