At 10:48 a.m. Nov. 30, Trooper McCartney responded to the 24000 block of Horseshoe Road in Clements for a reported Theft from Motor Vehicle.
Upon arrival, contact was made with the male complainant of Clements. He advised he went hunting on Nov. 29, and when he returned that day placed his Winchester Model 1300 shotgun in the bed of his Ford Ranger truck at 1 pm.
He went to retrieve the gun three hours later, at approximately 4 pm, when he discovered it missing.
The shotgun had a black scope and a camouflaged sling.
Neighborhood checks were conducted and the investigation is continuing.
