Tuesday evening the Ryken Knights took on the Good Counsel Falcons.ย
The Knights found themselves in a 2-2 tie with the Falcons mid way through the first quarter.ย Ryken would score two more quick goals to go up 4-2 by the end of the first.ย
The Knights spread the scoring well, with all four goals coming from different players.ย
In the second quarter, Ryken would add another two goals and only give up one to end the half at 6-3.ย In the third quarter the Knights gave up another goal, and had trouble finding the net themselves.ย In the fourth quarter Brett Schmidt would score his third goal, to lead the team in scoring, and get the Knights going again to a 9-5 finish.ย
Zack Angel, and Taylor Cook finished the game with two goals, and Bray Dunaway and Tyler Spaulding added a goal each.ย With two games left Ryken will play at St Johnโs this Friday. The Knights will then end their regular season at home next Tuesday, with Senior Night, when they host a big game against DeMatha.
