At 3:14 a.m. June 18, TFC J. Fleetwood of the Leonardtown barrack responded to a disturbance call at the Great Mills Sheetz. Upon arrival, contact was made with off duty TFC P. Trossbach, who advised that Matthew Thomas Miller, 19, of Elkton, had been inside the store being rude to the female customers.

Miller was asked to leave the store and when he did, he became irate, yelling and screaming outside. Miller was told to leave the entire premise.

Due to his obvious intoxication he was told by TFC Trossbach that he would not be allowed to drive. Miller became more upset and started screaming and cursing.

Miller was placed under arrest and charged with disorderly intoxication, disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace. He was taken to the St. Maryโ€™s County Detention Center and held pending a bond review.
