On June 15, 2011, Cpl James Molitor responded to the CVS Pharmacy in Lexington Park for a theft. Upon arrival, Cpl Molitor learned Keith R. Nelson 37 years old of Avenue was observed by store staff concealing merchandise on his person and leaving the business. Keith Nelson was confronted and found to be in possession of a pair of sunglasses, property of CVS, valued at $21.19. Nelson was arrested and a search of his person revealed a quantity of Alprazolam for which he did not have a prescription. Additionally, a records check showed Nelson was wanted on two outstanding warrants for Child Support. Keith R. Nelson was charged with Theft under $100 and Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance.
