
Osie Mae Shade
Lexington Park, MD— On Wednesday, October 26, at 4:40 p.m. the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office COPs Unit responded to a 911 call for a disturbance in Lexington Park.
The disturbance, involving two adult females, was taking place in a motor vehicle that was traveling on Great Mills Road. The vehicle was located in a nearby subdivision and the driver was identified as Osie Mae Shade, 56 years of age, from Lexington Park.
Through investigation, it was determined that Shade was consuming vodka while driving the vehicle almost causing an accident and she appeared heavily intoxicated and also under the influence of drugs and/or prescription narcotics.
Deputies located suspected Marijuana, a smoking device, prescription narcotics and a partially filled vodka bottle in the motor vehicle.
Shade was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center by Deputy First Class Vince Pontorno and charged with several offenses.
