Marsha Ball of the St. Mary’s County Special Olympics and Peter West, Special Olympics athlete, are shown receiving a $1,000 donation from the Leonardtown Lions Club King Lion George Kirby during a Lions Club meeting at the Olde Breton Inn. Peter shared some highlights of his participation in the Special Olympics events along with a presentation on Special Olympics by Ms. Ball. All donations to the Special Olympics go to support activities in St. Mary’s County.
