On December 29 at 11:35 p.m. Dep. P. Mosely conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on H.G. Trueman Road near Cove Point Road in Lusby. He found the driver, later identified as Ryan Daniel Lavender, 29 of St. Leonard, to appear to be under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. While attempting to place Lavender under arrest, Lavender resisted. Lavender was charged with driving under the influence, driving while intoxicated and resisting a lawful arrest.
