On November 26, 2011, deputies responded to a local pub on Point Lookout Road, Great Mills, Maryland, for a report of an assault. Investigation revealed Derrick Xavier Green, 30, of Lexington Park, Maryland, and the victim became involved in an argument which escalated into a physical assault when Green pushed the victim to the ground causing injuries to her knee and hand. Deputy Snyder arrested Green and charged him with second degree assault.
