On Dec. 21, St. Mary’s County deputies along with Maryland State Police responded to the area Carmen Wood in the area of Westbury Blvd for report of a domestic assault involving a knife that occurred.
Trooper Ditoto arrived on scene to discover Marcus P. Johnson, 18 of Lexington Park, walking along Pegg Road, Johnson had been involved in a verbal argument with the victim which escalated into a physical assault with a knife.
Johnson was taken into custody, arrested with First and Second-Degree Assault then transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center.
