PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – On September 14, 2018 Deputy Bowlan conducted a traffic stop in front of the Tractor Supply in Huntingtown.
While making contact with the driver, George Lewis Gerlach, 32, Deputy Bowlan detected a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. A search of Gerlach’s person revealed two bags containing suspected marijuana. A search of the vehicle revealed Adderall and a baggie of suspected cocaine.
Gerlach was placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was charged with CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana.
