At 12 p.m. Dec. 13, Romaro Martinze West, 38, of Clinton, was served with a summons to appear in court to answer charges of Assault 2nd Degree.
The charges resulted from an incident which occurred at about 9 p.m. Dec. 9. On that date Tpr. Moore of the Leonardtown barrack responded to St. Mary’s Hospital for a reported assault.
The victim, 17 year old female, told police that her mother and her mother’s boyfriend had been arguing downstairs. The boyfriend then ran upstairs, held the girl, and punched her in the face numerous times.
The suspect then left the residence and the mother transported her to the hospital where she was treated for minor injuries to her face.
