THEFT โ On January 13, 2015, Corporal Smolarsky responded to the McKayโs Food Store located in Leonardtown, for a reported theft. Store management allegedly observed suspect John Solomon Clayton, age 64, of no fixed address, place several containers of crab meat in his coat pockets and leave the store. The manager confronted Clayton and called police. Clayton was charged with Theft Under $100.00 by criminal citation. CASE #2212-15

ARSON โ On January 15, 2015, Deputy Schultz responded to a residence on Colderall Court in California, for disturbance. The victims alleged their daughter Ashley Renee Harvey, age 20, of California, came home intoxicated, which caused an argument. Harvey eventually went upstairs to her bedroom. A short time later, the victims heard loud banging noises coming from upstairs. As they went upstairs to investigate, Harvey threw items out of her bedroom. Deputy Schultz attempted to contact Harvey, however she barricaded herself in the bedroom. She threatened to set the room on fire if Deputy Schultz came in. Deputies made entry into the bedroom as Harvey was attempting to set the mattress on fire with a lighter. Harvey resisted arrest and was placed in handcuffs after a brief struggle. Harvey was transported to the St. Maryโs County Detention Center and charged with 1st Degree Arson, Threat of Arson, Property Destruction, and Resisting Arrest. CASE #4691-15
ASSAULT โ On January 21, 2015, Deputy D. Smith responded to a residence located on Cambridge Avenue in Lexington Park, for a reported assault. The victim alleged suspect Audrey Madison Watson, age 36, of Lexington Park, was upset over divorce proceedings and an argument ensued. Watson struck the victim in the face during the argument. Deputy Smith observed fresh injuries on the victimโs face. Watson was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Maryโs County Detention Center. She was charged with 2nd Degree Assault. ASSAULT โ On January 23, 2015, Deputy L. Johnson responded to a residence located in the 21000 block of Chancellorโs Run Road in Great Mills, for a reported assault. On arrival, Deputy Johnson observed the victim on the floor with a bleeding head injury. The victim was transported to the MedStar St. Maryโs Hospital by ambulance for treatment. Witnesses indicated suspect Sean Aaron McCampbell, age 35, of Lexington Park, and the victim were arguing when McCampbell pushed the victim out of a chair. The victimโs head struck the floor causing the injury. McCampbell, who fled prior to the arrival of deputies, was located a short time later and placed under arrest. He was transported to the St. Maryโs County Detention Center and charged with 2nd Degree Assault. CASE #4182-15
OBSTRUCTION/HINDERING โ On January 24, 2015, Deputy J. Wilson responded to Willows Road to assist another deputy who had conducted a vehicle stop and was attempting to administer field sobriety tests on the driver. The passenger identified as Marco Morris Fenwick, age 23, of Lexington Park, began to curse loudly at deputies and refused to calm down. After several requests for Fenwick to stop he was placed under arrest. A partially smoked cigarette containing suspected marijuana was found in his coat pocket. Numerous items of paraphernalia were located throughout the vehicle. Fenwick was transported to the St. Maryโs County Detention Center. He was charged Obstruction/Hindering and Possession Paraphernalia. CASE #4586-15
