On Nov. 20, Deputy Nicole Chimko-Fahey responded to a residence in Ridge, for a reported assault.
Deputy Chimko-Fahey learned the victim became involved in an argument with Lloyd J. Carpenter, 25 of Ridge. During the argument, Lloyd Carpenter struck the female victim in the eye.
Carpenter was arrested, charged with second degree assault and released to the custody of the St. Mary’s County Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
