On April 15, at 11:34 a.m., Tpr. M. J. Pitcher while patrolling in the Lexington Park area observed a male subject use a hammer to cause damage to signage for St. Mary’s Landing.
Upon contact, Troy Dwayne Barnes, 32 of Lexington Park, was arrested for Malicious Destruction of Property.
Barnes advised he struck the sign out of anger stemming from a situation unrelated to the business. Barnes was transported to St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged accordingly.
