On June 5, at 6:13 p.m., Tpr. M. Pitcher responded to the Wal-Mart Store in California, for the reported theft in progress with shoplifter in custody.
Upon arrival, contact was made with the Loss Prevention Officer who advised he had detained Scott Kenneth Binkney, 45 of Ridge, for stealing $156.11 in meat and canned goods.
Binkney was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
