Mechanicsville, MD – On July 31, Deputy Holdsworth responded to a residence on Green Gables Court in Mechanicsville, for a reported domestic assault.
The victim alleged suspect Donald Reeves Burroughs Jr., 43, of Mechanicsville, threw the victim to the ground. The victim’s head struck the ground. Deputy Holdsworth observed fresh injuries on the victim’s face.
Burroughs was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged with second-degree assault.
