MECHANICSVILLE, Md. – We are receiving reports of a 27-year-old male suffering from severe burns from a propane grill backfire.
At 12:41 p.m., July 5, the victim arrived at the Mechanicsville Volunteer Fire Department for medical assistance. EMS on the scene requested MEDEVAC for the patient. Describing the burns on the patients right hand as “charred”.
Landing zone was at the fire department. MSP Aviation Trooper 7 arrived at approximately 1:20 p.m., to transport the patent to a burn center.
