Man Flown To Burn Center After Injuring Self While Trying To Ignite Brush

WALDORF, Md. — A man was recently injured after trying to light some brush on fire, but accidentally lit the brush, a structure, and himself on fire.

At approximately 3:08 p.m. on March 21, we were alerted to a fire in the area of Westwood Drive in Waldorf. Reports indicate that the 40 year old man received 2nd degree burns and was flown to a nearby burn center.
