
CHESAPEAKE BEACH, Md. – On September 6, 2018 Deputy T. Buckler responded to 15th Street in Chesapeake Beach for the report of an auto accident.
The complainant advised he heard a vehicle go into the woods from his residence, then saw the driver come crawling up the hill, and never saw him again after that. While checking the vehicle for other passengers, Deputy T. Buckler located a prescription pill bottle with the name Khamali Thomas, 24, on it.
A short period of time later, Thomas was located at the scene of another auto accident. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was charged with Malicious Destruction of Property > $1,000 and Failure to Control Vehicle Speed on Highway to Avoid Collision.
