At approximately 4:03 pm, on March 25, TFC J. Edelen responded to southbound U.S. Route 301, at Sub Station Road, Waldorf, for a report of a vehicle parked in the roadway.ย 

Upon TFC Edelenโ€™s arrival, he spoke with Officer Ling #2938 of the Prince Georgeโ€™s County Police.ย  Officer Ling stated, he observed a black Nissan driving all over the roadway.ย  He stated the vehicle then stopped at U.S. Route 301 at Sub Station Road.ย 

Officer Ling approached the vehicle and observed a white male passed out in the driverโ€™s seat.ย  Officer Ling also stated there was a cigarette laced with Phencyclidine (PCP) on his lap.

Officer Ling was able to wake the subject up and he was very incoherent. TFC Edelen made contact with Andrew Thomas Croston, 22 years of Mechanicsville, who was identified by his Maryland driverโ€™s license.ย 

While TFC Edelen spoke with Croston, he was very incoherent and could not stand on his own.ย  TFC Edelen placed Croston under arrest for driving under the influence and possession of PCP.ย  Croston was taken to the Charles County Detention Center pending a bond review.ย 

Croston was charged with the following:ย  DUI, Possession not Marijuana.
