On June 22, Corporal D. Milam stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle was identified through her driver’s license. A computer check of the driver revealed she was a petitioner of an active Protective Order.
The Protective Order prohibited Sean Patrick Murphy, 23 of Mechanicsville, from contacting the petitioner. Sean Patrick Murphy was the passenger of the vehicle.
Murphy was arrested and charged with violating the conditions of a Protective Order.
