When Stamm askedย Daniel White, who is theย senior Stateโ€™s Attorney what sentence he would ask for, White replied, “state recommends full backup time.”

Eric Sullivan, who was representing Beach in this sentencing case stated, “Beach was doing well in Maryland, he got with some people it was a very unusual situation. He has made an effort to get into treatment, and he wants to start drug treatment again.”ย

Stamm asked Beach if there was anything else he would like to tell the court before the sentencing was handed down. Beach replied, “I understand I messed up, I used marijuana so wouldn’t use the harder stuff. I believe I am in a workable spot, I know I have to use my coping techniques that I have learned in treatment.”ย

Stamm sentenced Beach to 18 months which was his backup time. Stamm also gave Beach credit for 15 days and authorized work release. Beach is also able to participate in drug treatment programs.ย
