On Thursday, March 22, 2007 at 8:16 am, TFC Linger initiated a traffic stop on a white Ford    F-150 on Rt. 5 at Old Village Road in Mechanicsville for exceeding the posted speed limit.  Contact was made with the driver, Brian Elmer Mayor, 49, of Hollywood.  A check through MVA revealed Mr. Mayor was driving on a revoked license and he was subsequently arrested.  Mr. Mayor was found to be in possession of marijuana and a CDS smoking device.  Mr. Mayor was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was charged with possession of marijuana and CDS paraphernalia and other related traffic charges.
