Her colleagues praised U.S. Senator Barbara Mikulski yesterday on her appointment as the next chairwoman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations.

Senator Mikulski is expected to be ratified as Chairwoman of the Senate Appropriations Committee by her colleagues at a Democratic Caucus meeting today.
