Witness statement – A witness stated “she was sitting at the light on Route 6 waiting to turn onto sb Route 5. Her light to cross route 6 to new market turner road had turned green and the blue mini van was in the intersection to cross over to route 6, the green car was also in the intersection to cross over to new market turner road when the silver pick up truck ran through the red light and hit both vehicles. The blue mini van turned 365 at least once before coming to rest in the grassy area of the citgo parking lot.”
Update – Two patients have been airlifted and one ground transport for medical treatment.
Update – Medivac have been dispatched for transport to a Trauma Center.
Mechanicsville Md. – Dec. 3, At 12:09 pm a motor vehicle crash was reported on Three Notch Road in the area of New Market Road. Units are on the scene investigating a three vehicle collision in the south bound lanes.
The south bound lanes in that area are reported closed
