GREAT MILLS, Md. — A motorcyclist was seriously injured Monday Oct. 20, 2025, following a crash involving a vehicle at the intersection of Chancellors Run Road and Buck Hewitt Road.
Emergency crews were dispatched around 5:30 p.m. and requested a medevac after evaluating the rider’s condition at the scene. EMS transported the patient to the St. Mary’s County Regional Airport, where Maryland State Police Trooper 7 met them at the hangar.
Trooper 7 then flew the motorcyclist to an area trauma center for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
