UPDATE: Accident cleared, road has reopened.
LEXINGTON PARK, Md. – On December 1, at approximately 3:56 p.m., emergency units responded to the motor vehicle accident involving a van vs motorcycle reported on Three Notch Road in the area of Spring Ridge Middle School.
Crews arrived on the scene and requested MEDEVAC for the motorcyclist. The patient is 25 y/o male with injuries including hip and femur fractures. MSP Trooper 7 is enroute, landing at Spring Ridge Middle School at 4:20 p.m.
Three Notch Road is shutdown in the area of the school, detour set in place.
The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is continuing an investigation.
