ARRESTS:

On 9/29/2021, Tpr C. Riggs conducted a traffic stop in the area of Pegg Road, Lexington Park, MD. During contact with the operator, identified as Timothy Dwayne George, 62 of Tappahannock, VA, CDS-Not Marijuana (prescription medicine) was observed in plain view. Investigation revealed that George did not have a valid prescription for the medication located. George was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana.

On 9/29/2021, Tpr M. Koontz responded to Walmart, California, MD for a reported theft.  Investigation revealed the suspect, Katia Lucero Polanco, 18 of Scotland, MD did steal merchandise from the business. Polanco was issued a Criminal Citation and released at the scene.

On 9/30/2021, Tfc R. Kaszubski responded to Walmart, California, MD for a reported theft.  Investigation revealed the suspect, Stacey Ray-Seldon, 55 of Lexington Park, MD did steal merchandise from the business. Ray-Seldon was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with Theft $100 To Under $1500.

On 10/1/2021, Cpl. Z. Null was conducting a patrol check in the area of Castaway Circle, Lexington Park, MD when he observed a suspicious vehicle with no registration displayed.  Investigation revealed the vehicle had been reported stolen through the Philadelphia Police Department. The vehicle was towed from the scene for release to the registered owner.

On 10/1/2021, Tpr C. Riggs responded to Skyview Drive, Mechanicsville, MD for a reported ATV Theft. Investigation revealed the owner had listed the ATV for sale on Facebook Marketplace. The investigation is continuing and anyone with information is asked to call the Leonardtown Barrack.

On 10/3/2021, Tfc E. Ruggles was conducting a patrol check of the Oakville Ball Park off of Loveville Road, Mechanicsville, MD when he observed a suspicious vehicle. Upon making contact with the operator and sole occupant of the vehicle, identified as Patrick Wayne Brooks, 34 of Mechanicsville, MD it was determined that there were three active warrants for his arrest.  Search incident to arrest revealed CDS-Not Marijuana (Cocaine) and CDS Paraphernalia.  Brooks was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center.  Upon arrival and search of his person, additional CDS-Not Marijuana (Crack Cocaine) was located. Brooks was charged with CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana and Driving without a Required License and the three active warrants were also served.

On 10/3/2021, Tfc M Posch responded to a residence off of Sue Drive, Lexington Park for a reported Threat of Arson and Assault.  Investigation revealed the suspect, who was still on the scene and intoxicated, had made threats with a firearm and attempted to set the home on fire. The firearm was recovered and the suspect was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center.  Upon arrival at the detention center, it was discovered the suspect gave a false name and was later identified as Wilian Hernandez-Carrillo, 45 of Lexington Park, MD. The suspect also had several active arrest warrants through the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office.  Hernandez-Carrillo was charged with Assault-First Degree; Assault-Second Degree; Malicious Burning-Second Degree; Arson/Threat; Illegal Possession of a Regulated Firearm; Firearm Use/Felony/Violent Crime; Malicious Destruction of Property; and Public Intoxication

On 10/3/2021, Tpr C. Baden responded to La Quinta Inn, Three Notch Road,California, MD for a reported disturbance.  Investigation revealed that the suspect, identified as Adair Kirk Scott, 36 of California, MD did physically assault the victim.  Scott was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with Assault-Second Degree.

On 10/4/2021, Tpr M. Koontz responded to Indian Way, Lexington Park, MD for a reported assault. Investigation revealed the suspect, identified as Kenneth Cradle, 61 of Lexington Park, MD, did assault the victim.  A search incident to the arrest of Cradle, revealed CDS-Not Marijuana on his person. Cradle was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center.  Upon arrival and intake search, CDS-Not Marijuana (K2 Spice) was located on his person.  Cradle charged with Assault-Second Degree and CDS-Possession-Not Marijuana in Place of Confinement.

On 10/5/2021, Tpr M. Koontz conducted a traffic stop in the area of Hollywood Road and Point Lookout Road, Leonardtown, MD.  The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit assisted by conducting a K9 scan which resulted in a positive alert for the presence of narcotics. The rear passenger, identified as Dillion Cole Heiston, 28 of Leonardtown, MD was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with 3 counts of CDS:Possession- Not Marijuana (Heroin, Cocaine and Buprenorphine) and CDS:Possession-Paraphernalia.
