At 7:38 a.m. Aug. 28, Charles County Sheriff’s officers assisted the Prince George’s County Police in locating a homicide suspect in the 2600 block of Rooks Head Place in Waldorf.
While the officers were interviewing a resident, the suspect, Robert Alonzo Taylor, 26, of Clinton, arrived at the home and was arrested without incident.
Prince George’s County Police charged Taylor with first-degree murder, use of a handgun in commission of a felony and other related charges.
He was being held at the Department of Corrections in Upper Marlboro without bond.
The murder occurred on Aug. 9 about 12:51 a.m. in the 6600 block of Surratts Road. The victim, Kendrix Nakia Thomas, 28, was an acquaintance.
