Murder Victims and the Missing To Be Honored Statewide This Weekend
22nd Annual Statewide Memorial Services
On Sunday, April 10th, Maryland will pause to honor the state’s murdered and missing crime victims. Four regional services of hope and remembrance will make up the 22nd Annual Statewide Memorial Service for Crime Victims and Their Families titled, “Something Beautiful Remains.”
The services will bring together families and friends of crime victims, victim service professionals and public officials. With hymns and prayers, and stories of tragic loss and unending love, participants will honor the memory of those Marylanders who lost their lives to violent crime. It will also acknowledge the families and loved ones who have had their lives dramatically changed as a result of someone else’s violent actions.
“Something Beautiful Remains” will be held in four locations, hosted by local State’s Attorneys’ Offices and the Maryland State Board of Victim Services:
