NAVAL AIR STATION PATUXENT RIVER, Md. — Hunters interested in opportunities at NAS Patuxent River will have a chance to learn about regulations, resources, and networking later this month.
The NAS Patuxent River Natural Resources Staff will host a preseason meeting on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at the Mattapany Rod and Gun Club. Attendees can learn about hunting opportunities and regulations on the NAS Patuxent River Complex, as well as the offerings of the Mattapany Rod and Gun Club. The event will also provide a chance to meet and network with other hunters.
In addition, Maryland Hunter Education Field Days will be held on NAS Patuxent River on August 21 and September 11, both offered in an online field day format.
