This Saturday, May 10 at Waldorf Fordโ€™s brand spanking new dealership and offices at 2440 Crain Highway on Waldorfโ€™s famed โ€œauto-rowโ€ the National Letter Carriers Association and Waldorf Ford are teaming up to make this yearโ€™s โ€œStamp Out Hunger Driveโ€ an over-the-top success.

Anyone with something to spare can bring non-perishable food items to the dealership, which will be donated to the National Letter Carriers Association annual drive to end hunger for those less fortunate. Whatโ€™s more, Waldorf Ford will match, item for item, everything donated on that day.

This is just one of many planned events at the new Ford dealership planned for May and June. They have something going each weekend through June 7, when John Walsh and DNA LifePrint will be at the dealership and people can protect their children in Walshโ€™s revolutionary identification program for children.

According to www.dna-lifeprint.com, โ€œ [For children], DNA offers a tremendous advantage over less reliable means of identification such as footprints or fingerprints which are constantly changing in children under 7 years of age. Unlike photos and physical descriptions, DNA is the only portrait that never changes. DNA identification analysis can identify one person in billions.โ€

Walshโ€™s Web site also states that for adults, โ€œThe DNA of a missing adult stricken with Alzheimer’s disease or other disorienting condition could provide the positive proof of identification leading to a safe return.โ€

Prior to the that date, Waldorf Ford has WMZQ-radio there on Saturday, May 17 where passersby can stop in and enjoy free Mikeโ€™s BBQ and compete for free concert tickets. On the following Saturday, May 24 through Memorial Day, May 26, the dealer has many surprises in store. There will be special giveaways, unadvertised specials and some lucky entrant may win a $1,000 gas card!
