The 2009 Oyster scald will be held on Thursday, October 1, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Leonardtown Wharf on Washington Street in Leonardtown.
Tickets are $25 when purchased in advance or $30 at the event. Visitors can stroll the Leonardtown waterfront while enjoying live entertainment, light appetizers, beverages and of course oysters. Limited tickets are available. This event is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Lexington Park to benefit the National Oyster Cook-off which will be held at the 43rd Annual Oyster Festival October 17th & 18th 2009.
