The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Missouri, is being awarded a $47,704,849 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-14-C-0032) for the procurement of aircraft armament equipment (AAE) items in support of the F/A-18E/F and E/A-18G aircraft. The procured AAE items include 167 SUU-79 C/A wing pylons for the U.S. Navy (112) and the government of Australia (55); 127 SUU-80 A/A low drag pylons for the U.S. Navy (99) and Australia (28); 98 ADY-773 A/A adapters for the U.S. Navy (72) and Australia (26); and supporting items. Work will be performed in Mesa, Arizona (72 percent); St. Louis, Missouri (16 percent); Minneapolis, Minnesota (10 percent); and St. Paul, Minnesota (2 percent), and is expected to be completed in December 2019. Fiscal 2013 and 2014 aircraft procurement (Navy) and foreign military sales funds in the amount of $47,704,849 are being obligated at time of award, $12,349,386 of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract combines purchase for the U.S. Navy ($33,810,474; 71 percent) and the government of Australia ($13,894,375; 29 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
Marvin Engineering Co.,* Inglewood, California, is being awarded an $18,872,700 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00421-13-C-0002) to exercise an option for the procurement of 412 BRU-32 B/A ejector bomb racks and 8 BRU-32 periodic production samples in support of the F/A-18 E/F/G for the U.S Navy (380 ejector bomb racks and 8 periodic production samples) and the government of Finland (32 BRU-32 B/A ejector bomb racks). Work will be performed in Inglewood, California, and is expected to be completed in April 2018. Fiscal 2013, 2014 and 2015 aircraft procurement (Navy) and foreign military sales funds in the amount of $18,872,700 will be obligated at time of award, $7,504,145 of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This modification combines purchases for the U.S. Navy ($17,434,780; 92.4 percent) and the government of Finland ($1,437,920; 7.6 percent). The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
