
Annapolis Md. – June 30 According to news sources police are looking for the mother of an infant found outside of a home in Annapolis Friday morning.
Police say the hours-old Hispanic male infant was found on the doorstep of a home in the 2000 block of Forest Drive shortly after 6:30 a.m.
Police say the infant appeared to be in good health but was taken to a local hospital for care. Police are worried about the health of the mother and are asking her to come forward, as she may need medical attention or be a victim of a crime.

Police are reminding residents that Maryland has the Safe Haven law, meaning no one has to abandon a newborn baby. Newborns can be left at hospitals or law enforcement stations.
