Is President Obama a spineless tax and spend Liberal?

In short, No! If anything he is far from it. Although with his defining legislation, Affordable Care Act, upheld and his campaign beginning what Team Obama is already dubbing โ€œhis last campaign,โ€ people are thinking about legacy, qualifications, and what he would do with a second term if elected.

If growing โ€œgrey hairโ€ is an indicator of Presidential success, Obama is right up there with the best of them having aged considerably during his first term.ย At least the aging suggests he is losing sleep over national issues.ย His partisan leanings are an interesting subject because Barrack Obama is rather unconventional in his approach. ย When you sort through the background noise in Washington D.C. and just look at facts, there is a compelling body of evidence that President Obama if re-elected would transform America in the most positive way we have seen in a long time.

Now I, like everyone, have been hard on the President for his inexperience shining through in his dealings with Congress on healthcare early on, and his relative silence on major economic issues.ย However, I think if elected to a second term, which is likely, the Obama Presidency will be known for sweeping reforms.ย

Knowing the man biographically certainly helps in understanding his motives and leadership style.ย Because we have a President with such an international footprint, his biography has also lent itself to conspiracy theories that while asinine have a foundation in his curious story causing many to believe there must be something truthful about the theories.

His story is one of the most interesting in the annals of Presidential history but not in the ways of grandeur and an air of ascendancy.ย He begins as one of the most regular people to reside at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue since perhaps Andrew Jackson.ย Well, maybe Harry Truman depending on what you believe regarding Trumanโ€™s level of involvement in the Pendergast political machine in Missouri.

In some ways Obama had an upbringing of privilege in that his family pulled together to make sure he had a world class education.ย While he did contribute up to 10 percent, some accounts are higher, toward his education with odd jobs through the years, his motherโ€™s and grandparentsโ€™ lives centered on paying for Barryโ€™s education.ย As a young man he was accepted to and attended the internationally renowned Punahou School in Hawaii at which time he lived with and was raised by his Kansan grandparents Stanley and Madeline Dunham.ย

Not only did Obama receive a world-class education, a trend was started here that would be present through his whole life.ย People from different countries and cultural backgrounds always surrounded Obama. Race was always at the center of his existence and he fit in well in a multi-cultural setting like Hawaii where author David Maranissโ€™ โ€œBarrack Obama, The Storyโ€ points out, โ€œMany thought Obama was a Japanese name.โ€ His closest friends always represented people from every race, creed, and walk of life.ย The relatively unknown Barry lived a unique existence, having spent some time living with mom in Indonesia where he went to an American school. By the time he got to Hawaii he was already showing an above average aptitude according to his teachers. He graduated high school, Punahou, and was accepted to Occidental College in Los Angeles.ย His mother was distant, but proud of Barry and still living in Indonesia with her second husband and Barryโ€™s stepfather, Lolo Soetoro and their daughter, Barrackโ€™s half-sister, Maya.ย This is the first place where many โ€œbirthersโ€ get their ammunition.ย Barry went by โ€œSoetoroโ€ until well into his college years, maybe even through his Columbia University days in the mid
