Mike Bavani, sales manager at Hampton Inn Lexington Park, was the driver of the silver Nissan in the car accident that occurred on Monday, Aug. 11, involving a collision with a dark Nissan Xterra on State Route 235. The silver Nissan flipped after impact while the dark Nissan drove into a tree on the side of the road.
Bavani, 24 of Great Mills, has now been treated for minor injuries after being flown to PG Shock Trauma and has been able to recollect on the accident.
The incident occurred when Bavani was driving back to work on State Route 235. According to Bavani, when he was signaled into the turn lane he noticed a lady driving a Nissan Xterra. He explained that the driver began to pull out of the Veterinarian Hospital onto the highway but stopped when she saw him enter the lane.
โWhen I was within 10 feet of her she pulled out. I think she was either in a daze or thought I was turning into where she was pulling out of,โ Bavani said. โI struck the car with no time to avoid the collision.โ
