LA PLATA, Md. – Last night at approximately 10:09 p.m., police, fire and rescue personnel responded to the serious motor vehicle accident in the area of Crain Highway and Lindsbrooke Place.
Crews arrived on the scene and found the single vehicle off the roadway in the woods with one subject trapped. Firefighters extracted the patient by 10:34 p.m. and turned the patient over to EMS care. Emergency personnel requested a MEDEVAC for the patient.
Trooper 2 arrived and transported the patient to UM Capital Region Medical Center.
