At approximately 330 pm a call was placed to the 911 emergency communications center advising of a motor vehicle accident with one ejected and laying in the roadway of Great Mills Road.
Upon arrival, it was confirmed that the driver of a Chevy S-10 was ejected and laying in the roadway.
Further investigation revealed the driver of the Chevy S-10 failed to stop at the red light at Great Mills Road and Chancellors Run Road. The driver subsequently crossed the path of a Honda Accord that was turning left onto Chancellors Run Road from Great Mills Road.
The driver who was ejected was flown by Maryland State Police Trooper 6 to an area trauma unit for precautionary measures. The driver of the Honda Accord was taken to Med Star St. Mary’s Hospital.
