It’s boring, tedious work, but we ventured deep into the Maryland tax records again today and searched for residential sales of homes that sold for over $1,000,000 in the county. Sadly, as are so many things that we report about the local real estate market, we only found one property that sold for $1,170,000.
What would possess us to do such a search you might ask? The answer lies in the MLS. You see we ran a search in there as well, and we found that twenty six (26) homes were currently for sale between $1,000,000 and $2,950,000. Therefore, we just had to know how many of these properties were actually being sold? One! That’s your answer, and that leaves a 26 year supply unless we start selling some winning lottery tickets around here too…
