At 11:59 p.m. April 28, Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to the area of St. Charles Parkway and Dartmouth Road in Waldorf for the motor vehicle crash involving pedestrian.
Investigation revealed a 42-year-old Waldorf man was walking along the southbound shoulder of the road when he was struck by a silver vehicle, which then fled the scene without stopping.
The victim sustained a head injury and was flown to Suburban Hospital by Maryland State Police Trooper 2.
