Leonardtown, MD – The St. Mary’s County Department of Public Works & Transportation has issued a permit to perform a Pipe Replacement Project associated with the Wildewood development. In order to complete the work, Wildewood Parkway is scheduled to be closed on or about December 9, 2015 for approximately two (2) days.
The roadway will be closed south of Wildewood Boulevard and Piney Wood Circle. During construction residents will experience temporary road closures of Wildewood Parkway between the intersections of Wildewood Boulevard and Piney Wood Circle (see map).
A signed detour route has been planned around the construction area which will include Wildewood Boulevard and White Oak Parkway. Residents may also experience some construction noise in the area during daytime hours. The scheduled contract duration is 2 weekdays depending on weather conditions.
