Possible Bomb Threat Written in Spring Ridge Middle School Bathroom

On Thursday Spring Ridge Middle School staff called police to report a “possible bomb threat” at the school.

The principal wished to have police assess the information she had received about a possible bomb.

St. Mary’s Sheriff’s office told The Bay Net that the bomb threat came through a message scribbled on a bathroom wall. Later in the day there was also a report of a suspicious vehicle at the school.

A representative from the sheriff’s office said yesterday that they were not aware of any further action or an evacuation being required.

From all accounts the writing on the wall seemed to be a childish hoax.
