On January 24, deputies responded to Sheetz in Great Mills, for a report of a domestic assault in progress.
When Sgt. Young arrived he was approached by the victim who had a laceration on her foot and hand. The victim stated she was in a verbal dispute with Keith Marcel Campbell, 25 of La Plata. The victim stated that Campbell physically assaulted her and caused the injuries to her had and foot. An ambulance was called to attend to the victim’s injuries. Campbell was still on the scene and interviewed by deputies.
Upon completing the interview, Campbell was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.
