On August 1 at 1:50 a.m., Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to the 2500 block of Old Washington Road in Waldorf for the report of a citizen robbery.
The victim reported that he and a friend were approached by three suspects who demanded money. The victim resisted and the suspects struck him, causing a laceration to the back of his head. The suspects fled and the victim was transported to a hospital where he was admitted for treatment. The Major Crimes Unit is investigating.
