Warrington, Pa. – Sabre Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce that Chief Operating Officer (COO) Glen Ives has been appointed Chair of the St. Mary’s County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
Ives was welcomed as Chair at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting on June 9, 2015. His term began July 1, 2015 and runs through June 30, 2016.
The mission of the St. Mary’sCounty Chamber of Commerce is to work to maintain a favorable business climate by assisting in the development, growth and promotion of commerce within the community.
Ives, who has been a member of the Chamber Board since 2009 stated, “I am honored to assume the position and look forward to helping the Chamber increase economic growth throughout the region.”
Ives joined Sabre in July 2008, after having led an extensive career with the United States Navy which included more than 15 years of top-level executive management. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and the United States Army War College.
