Then make your way to the Maryland Antique Center complex. Refresh yourself at The Tea Room and view the artwork of local artists at the Lord Calvert Gallery and E&M Art; preview the new show opening at Heronโ€™s Way Gallery and see period artwork displayed by the Maryland Antique Center dealers. Right next door you can visit Shelbyโ€™s Specialties, Turning Leaf Gallery and The Olde Town Crafters.
Then itโ€™s just a short 1.6 miles to โ€œDowntown Leonardtownโ€ were you can peruse Fenwick Street Books, choose delectables from The Good Earth Natural Foods Co., or fill your printing and graphic needs at Hill Top Graphics. The crawlโ€™s final destination is The North End Gallery that has a new art show and reception every first Friday! There is no better way to finish off the evening than a lovely dinner at Cafรฉ Des Artisits!

If you missed last Fridayโ€™s โ€œFirst Friday Gallery Crawlโ€ from Uptown to Downtown Leonardtown, donโ€™t worry, you can catch the next โ€œFirst Fridayโ€ coming in August.

Leonardtown businesses have banded together to showcase the great shops, galleries and bookstores located in โ€˜Uptownโ€™ and historic Downtown Leonardtown.

Participating businesses are staying open late for the โ€œFirst Fridaysโ€ and pulling out all the stops to accommodate visitors.

Bob and Friends performed Room with a Brew from 6-8 p.m. July 8, raising funds for Hospice of St. Maryโ€™s. At Room With a Brew there are rotating photography and art exhibits from talented locals, as well as art, photography, jewelry, and other hand crafted items for sale.
