Join St. Mary’s County’s Business, Education & Community Alliance (BECA) for its 2010 Scholarship Fair held Wednesday, January 20, 2010, 4 to 7 p.m., at the Dr. James A. Forrest Career and Technology Center, 24005 Point Lookout Road, Leonardtown, MD.
This is an opportunity to meet many of the scholarship providers listed on the 2010 St. Mary’s County Common Scholarship Application, learn how to complete the common application, attend a session on financial aid basics, and ask questions about financing your college career. High school seniors, parents and guardians, and others needing financial assistance to attend college are encouraged to attend.
BECA has awarded more than $1,000,000 in scholarships through its Common Scholarship Application process since 2007.
