Sheriff Timothy K. Cameron and the men and women of the St. Maryโ€™s County Sheriffโ€™s Office welcome six new deputies:

Kenneth H. Flerlage
Ryan E. Kampf
Will Thompson
Brandon T. Foor
Glen D. Knott
Cory M. Ellis

On February 19,ย these deputies completed their twenty eight weeks of police entrance level training and graduated the Southern Maryland Criminal Justice Academy.ย  The graduation ceremony was held at Leonardtown High School.ย 

The graduating class was comprised of thirteen total graduates, six representing St. Mary’s County Sheriffโ€™s Office.ย  St. Maryโ€™s County Deputy Glen D. Knott was awarded the Marksmanship Award and St. Maryโ€™s County Deputy Willย 
Thompson was awarded the Emergency Vehicle Operations Award.ย  The graduating class demonstrated their commitment to their training and studies by graduating with an overall class academic grade point average of 95.25%.

Sheriff Cameron wishes the new deputies a long and prosperous law enforcement career.ย
